Oct. 24, 2009 was Sonny and Ruth's 50
th Wedding Anniversary. It is not so common nowadays being married 50 years, but they have made it look easy. I know that it takes an effort to have a marriage that last for that long. Thanks Ruth and Sonny for being an example to us younger ones! We wanted to plan a party for them but Sonny and Ruth both said they didn't want anything. So we decided to take a
ice cream cake Sunday evening. Judy's and Keith's couldn't make it and dad's were in Flordia- so it was just the rest of us.
